More than 150 players from across the Section, playing out of cities like Phoenix, Tucson, Sedona, Las Cruces, Albuquerque and El Paso are expected to compete in this "tri-level" format (named for the three different NTRP levels 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5) that make up each team.
Tri-Level is a growing format in the Southwest and across the nation with more and more teams participating each and ever year. The Tri-Level format uses the non-traditional "games-won" format over the individual match lines won format. This puts an emphasis on scrapping for every game played.
